What should I make for dinner tomorrow?
November 5th, 2009 | by admin |I am 14 years old and I want to cook dinner tomorrow for my family. We are Italian but I am not making pasta [maybe lasagna?]
I need something fun and easy to cook. Sorta like a main dish.
For the other part I am frying up zucchini in skinny slices and making them like zucchini chips
Any Ideas? ![]()
Lasagna is an ambitious meal. If you have made it before, sounds good. If you want to stay with an italian theme you might try chicken leg quarters in a baking pan smothered in marinara sauce, cover & bake @ 350 for an hour. Or brown pork chops then finish them the same way, smothered in marinara & baked. Happy cooking.

Lasagne is always a good thing, look for a nice saucy baked lasagne that isn’t dry. I always make homemade sauce with plain tomato, and ground beef and I put tons of veggies in the food processer, so that they’re not lumpy when in the sauce. I make sure to pur lots on, and then top with cheese. I layer it with only a few layers of pasta so that it isn’t dry.
Another recipe you could make is Fettucini Alfredo, get a good one using Garlic and one that isn’t TOO saucy. Then it will be more restaurant style.
You can always bake a baguette or Loaf of Bread (Fresh) with melted butter with garlic. Brush it on the halved bread and bake in the oven until golden brown. Voila! Garlic Loaf/Bread. Yummy!
Good luck!

Since your Italian you should make pizza.
They could have there own little pizzas and if you weren’t frying the zucchini then you should make fruit pizzas and like a fruity drink/smoothie.
Hope that helps

i think tempura is fun! to make the batter use:
1 c. flour
1 c. COLD water
1 egg
salt and pepper to taste
mix the flour and egg first then add the cold water and do not over mix. add the salt and pepper. then add whatever you want into the batter and deep fry it!
This might not be the best idea for you if you don’t have help, because hot grease can be dangerous. definitely wear an apron, and if you have a deep fryer that would be good (my parents have one). otherwise i just use a wok (or large frying pan) with some vegetable oil and a splatter screen.
i like to fry up shrimp, chicken, broccoli, sweet potatoes, zucchini, etc. you can dip in soy sauce, sweet and sour, or (for the sweet potatoes) a mixture of butter with a little brown sugar and cinnamon. Yum! It seems like more of an appetizer, so i usually make white rice with it, and it works perfectly! i never met anyone who didnt like this

I have a great recipe that only has 3 ingredients: boneless chicken breasts, tomato-basil goat cheese and Italian bread crumbs. Pound chicken pieces with a mallet or the bottom of a large pan until they’re pretty flat. Spoon some cheese in the center and roll it up. Roll each piece in the bread crumbs. Cook in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
I make mine pretty small, like maybe 3-4 pieces from each breast. And it does get noisy in the kitchen while you’re pounding the chicken. Be sure to put the chicken between waxed or parchment paper while you’re pounding. That way you keep the mess controlled.
