Is there a name for this way of cutting/slicing?

When we make zucchini, squash, eggplant, or the like, I like to slice it into disks, then slice each disk in half to form half moons… If I were writing this down in a recipe, is there a name for this kind of slice? Its not a dice, or rough chop, its not even sliced on the bias… I have no idea what its called…
Its easy enough to explain within the recipe instructions, but I was curious if there was a name for it to save a step.

If you called it "cut into half discs (or half moons)" I’d know exactly what you meant.
Martha Stewart called that shape "half moons" on her show yesterday.

    ‘Cut zucchinis longways and slice’, would be my way of writing it, or ‘cut into half moons’.
