How much should bake sale good cost?
November 16th, 2009 | by admin |I made banana and zucchini bread for a bake sale and sliced them up into slices then wrapped them. How much should I ask for one slice. I was thinking $1.50. Is that too much?
The slices are about an inch thick.
seems pretty high to me…. $.50 to $.75 should be about right, unless it’s exceptionally thick and big and glazed. Then $1 would be right…. But, for just a thin, little slice of unglazed banana/zucchini bread, $1 would be way too high…. I sell baked goods on eBay, and the BIG, brandy-glazed banana breads are $8.50, plus their shipping (that’s a WHOLE LOAF)…

$200,000 would be best….. lol jk….
i think $0.25 or $0.50 cent would better to be flexible.

Way too much. For a loaf you’d charge between 2.50 and 3.00. For just a slice you should charge between .50 and .75.

If you have slices that that are around 1-1 1/2 centimeters thick (half inch or so) I would say 50-75 cents, anything bigger than a half inch you could say 1.00$, it depends how much you made, if you made a lot and bought less expensive bulk packages then charge less, if you made a lot charge more.

let’s make it $1.25 since 1.50 is a big high and 1.00 is not enough to make profit.
