Cooking zucchini in the crock pot, can I make this meal in there?

I would like to make a zucchini meal that I normally make in a pan/oven. I fry hamburger meat and then add spaghetti sauce and sliced zucchini. Then I spoon it into the hollowed out shell of the zucchini and bake until the zucchini is soft/tender. I don’t have any zucchini shells that are big enough, so I’m wondering if I can cook the hamburger and spaghetti sauce in the pan. Then I will add the zucchini chunks and let it simmer in the crock pot. Can I do this? How long would it take to soften the zucchini?

Thanks!

Should not take more than 1 hour on high, but I would bake it in a pan in the oven. I am afraid the crockpot might turn zucchini to watery mush because it traps so much steam.
