How do I slice a web template in Fireworks CS4?

Ok I have designed a template that I want to use for my web site..

Everytime I import it into dreamweaver and press enter a couple of times to make the sliced area bigger the rest of the design distorts.

How do I stop distorting?

Are there any guides you know if that show me how to slice properly?

    Make as many copies as you want slices. Load each one and delete anything you don’t want in that slice.

    try PHPBB or SimpleMachines, upload them to your server on directory, access the index.php located in the directory and follow the instructions and done!!!
    NOTE: you need MySQL or any other databases
