Do you put an orange slice in your Blue Moon?

September 12th, 2009 | by admin |

No… But I don’t drink that Coors-Molson brewed inferior example of a glorious Belgian Witbier anyway. Over spiced and vulgar. If you want a good Belgian white style beer get an Allagash White, Ommegang Witte, Bell’s Oberon, Unibroue Blanche de Chambly, Bell’s Winter White Ale, Great Lakes Holy Moses, St. Bernardus Witbier or even a Hoegaarden.

The true test of a beer is if it can be consumed without adding anything to it.

If it isn’t worth drinking without an orange, lemon or lime… it isn’t worth drinking.

It’s alot better without the fruit. I really don’t think Blue Moon is that great anyway.

    At home yes.
Out – no. Trust me – I’ve worked in a bar for 15 years – you don’t want to know about how bartenders cut fruit, how long they keep in in jars in the fridge, how many servers/bartender’s hands have touched them after handling money – it’s gross.

If I had someone that wanted to put an orange slice in my Blue Moon, I wouldn’t stop them. I wouldn’t do it myself or drink Blue Moon unless someone gave it to me for free!! Beer isn’t something to sit around and enjoys the sweet fruit taste of it!! It’s for getting drunk!

I dont but that’s because I started drinking Blue a long time ago before it was trendy to put orange slices in it ..I like the taste just fine without it .

Yes if it is a Blue Moon draft and they have oranges. If it is just the bottle then no.

    Same goes for Sunshine.
