What can I do to correct my horrible slice in my golf swing?

ah the slice
every golfers enemy
heres some tips
1. make sure you finish the swing. not following thru will cause a slice
2. take your left hand (im assuming you are right handed) and roll it over until you can see the first three knuckles on it. this will keep the club from turning in your hands during the swing
3. set up with a closed face. open face = slice
4. on the swing, come from the inside. i know it may sound weird (if i come from the inside then ill hit it away and it will slcie) NO! cutting across the ball, outside to inside, puts that bad side spin on the ball which causes the slice
try these tips and see if anything helps

You can also try putting the ball a little further forward in your stance. I have a wicked slice if I play the ball on the inner part of my left foot (being right handed) so I put the ball on the outer part of my foot, which forces me to swing a little later at the ball, and not "slap" at it as much.

Like the other person was eluding to by swinging from the inside, on your down swing and follow thru try to think about swinging the club away from your front foot. By this I mean when you start your swing think about keeping your club close to your back foot and tight to the inside then on the down swing, once again keep the club tight to your back foot but try to imagine swinging away from your front foot. Also make sure you dont try to stop your swing or get stiff with your swing trying to guide the ball, a relaxed swing with a good follow though, finish and not trying to murder the ball are the keys to being in the short grass and not the woods.
