what is the best golf ball designed for straighter shots or reduce spin-reduce spin????????????????????????

i am trying to figure out what golf ball to use …. i been using cheap balls topflite straight or the D2 but im ready to try something new because those balls are just so hard…and i know a golf ball wont fix any problems with slices or hooks but im just curious if im looking for a golf ball that is not going to fix or reduce slices or hooks but reduce as much spin mainly while driving…im ok with irons just looking for something to help with spin off of my driver and woods i know i have a outward in swing but just a golf ball designed for reduce spin or straighter shots…and is the best nike ball, titleist ball because i played with these balls and they just hit alot better to me for some reason what would you suggest for these 2 balls .. a ball that is designed for straighter shots or reduce spin?? thanks alot

    I use Top Flite Freaks, Double Dimple Technology and they have reduced my slice by almost 75%. I absolutely love them.

    Deffinately worth a try.

    It depends, I switched to the Taylor Made PENTA, but they are very VERY expensive. Taylor Made hired old Titlist ball designers and they have done a great ball with the PENTA. i recently won the Junior Club Championship with them. they help to straighten out off center hits on the drive and they role out about 10 yards more than the crap balls. another great ball is the Titlist NXT Tour. it provides tour quality feel around the green for a played with a slower swing speed. if you don’t know how fast your swing speed is and you don’t want to pay for the PENTA try the Bridgstone Ladey Extreme.

    Every manufacturer has one…nike karma, titleist nxt, callaway tour vapor, noodle. those are the top low spin balls.

    Ahhh cool, you got all really good answers. I feel the same way you do. Years ago before all this high tech equipment I always played with 90 compression golf balls for that softer feel. Playing with a golf ball that feels right helps out the confidence aspect a ton….good luck
