Well in the UK a cheese toastie is 2 pieces of bread toasted with cheese in the middle or cooked in a breville. I would only use thin or medium bread for that. The way you are describing is just plain old cheese on toast. I make it by toasting one side of the bread then on the un toasted side i place my cheese with some pepper and paprika and if I am in the mood some tabasco sauce. I then grill until the cheese melts and for my personal taste before it bubbles. ♥
References :
Yes, unless the bread starts to get too brown.
Are you using a Toaster Oven or a skillet? I always put butter or margarine on the outside.
The sandwich will remain hot for a while after you take it out so the cheese continues to melt a little more. I pay more attention to how brown the bread is. Un melted cheese is much better tasting than burnt bread.
References :
If you are slicing, the obvious answer is to overcompensate for it. Practice frequently at the driving range and if you swing doesn't improve, you might need to figure out something else. Maybe look for some tips to help improve your swing in general, especially if you get inconsistent results depending on how hard you swing. See my sources for a URL to a site that might have further information that might help you.
References :
http://theperfectgolfswing.planetcabinet.com/

as the for post replied, if you are doing it consistently like Trevino then aim for it and learn to play it. if you want to fix it consult a teaching professional for some lessons, online advice you never know where it is coming from for it could be a pro but chances are its not and the person giving you swing advice could be worse than you.
References :
When you top the ball there is a good chance that you're looking up early at impact and your hands tend to follow your head so keep your head down until your shoulder hits your chin at impact. To fix a slice here's a good drill to do; take a 7 iron or a 6 iron and put your feet together hit a couple of shots like that, the drill promotes good timing and after hitting about 10 put your feet together take a small step forward and a big step back the ball should be off your left heel and then swing with the same sensation that you had when your feet were together. Hope this helps it usually works for me when I'm not hitting it straight.
