If this wasn’t so seriously dangerous it would be funny. You will need to take the back off. Just don’t turn the TV on. Cheese is very fatty and that can ignite easily. Alternatively you could ‘phone the BBC and ask one of the presenters to focus on the inside of your telly, he might be able to see it.

I thought I was the only person who threw slices of processed cheese at the telly (they stick if the screen is warm enough).
Try to distract yourself with a game of "cheese or disease?". You name a cheese or a disease and someone else has to guess which one it is. Start with "stinking bishop" or "bilharzia".

First unplug the set, with a phillips screwdriver unscrew the rear panel, look for the green wire with the orange stripe, it should be attached to the transfixed sublateral diod, cut this wire about one inch from the diod. Install a (radio shack #sg214m) variable resistor inline between the wire and the diod. Replace the rear cover andplug the set back in, you will now receive all PPV channels at no cost and the hell with the cheese!
