I weighed it on my ww scale, and it said 0. But im confused because the book says 1oz is 3 points, but i assume thats for a thick slice?

I wrap the half onion in plastic wrap, then wrap it in foil and then put it all in a plastic zip baggie. But, I always have to throw that first slice away (waste it) because it's dried out.
Any suggestions? Will that Tupperware thing help?
