Well in the UK a cheese toastie is 2 pieces of bread toasted with cheese in the middle or cooked in a breville. I would only use thin or medium bread for that. The way you are describing is just plain old cheese on toast. I make it by toasting one side of the bread then on the un toasted side i place my cheese with some pepper and paprika and if I am in the mood some tabasco sauce. I then grill until the cheese melts and for my personal taste before it bubbles. ♥

You can eat whatever you want as long as your don’t surpass your calorie maintenance for the day. If you’re goal is to stay the same weight.

Now they put this puny lil strip down the middle.

it is also based on how the sandwich will taste. mcdonalds spends alot of money on researching food. based on their surveyors, the filet taste better with just a half slice of cheese.
