How do you preserve an apple?

I need any methods you amazingly smart people know about that are known to preserve apple slices. If you guys have a reason or link on it that would be a great help, but I just need methods. I already have: lemon juice, lime juice, ziploc bag, saran wrap and aluminum foil. You have know idea what a HUGE help this is, thank you so much!

sugar i think works best but DONT USE VINEGAR!!
it turn the apple slice brown and leaves bubbles on the slices 2!!

    I think vinegar or salt works. It’s what sailors used to preserve their meet.
    <= Or you could try to put it on your head for a long time.
